Hey, I thought of an idea for the members' infoboxes.. I was thinking of putting all the 'SELF' images in the infobox by using a tabber or a gallery. I was wondering if you could help me because I'm not sure how the template works.
(Sorry for the long post)
No, seriously the make make the pages feel empty. Plus the pages are meant for lyrics so why try to fit them in a small box. I also don't understand why we need to make the credits and notes small i think that the credits and especially the "take with full credit" should be in big letters so that people don't just rip them from here without credit
I have work on hundereds of song pages and seen even more and all of them have the lyrics the way they are with emphasis on the translator
A page i added the translation to and coloured
A page i made
I'm not saying we should become like the VLW but i think that we shouldn't make lyrics pages short and that we shouldn't make the name of the translator small but big since there are enough bold letters on those pages to make the translators name seem irrelevant. Either way i hope you take into consideration what i said.
It's fine, i used to editing those kinds of stuff so if you don't mind i'd like to finish it (i don't have the time right now that's why i'm asking) but for the colours should we try to put their favourites, like Jin Pink, Hosoek Green, Jungkook Red etc. Anyways thank you for listening to me!
Hi! I saw you adding Song category to certain pages. I believe the correct category for songs is actually Songs, not Song. :) I think it would be good to stick with Songs only so that there are not have duplicate categories laying around.
Also, your recent edit on InfoboxSong messed up most of song pages since you changed the parameter names - for example, Not Today. Would it be okay to revert your edit? Or at least change the parameter names to suit previous parameter names? It is also preferred practice to stick with portable infoboxes rather than classic infoboxes. Is there a reason you turned the portable format to classic format? If the appearance of portable version is an issue, I could help. Edit: I just realized you are changing parameter names on pages to suit new ones, but I am not sure if it is a good idea... There are a lot of song pages - changing all those to new parameter names would require time and effort, and lowercase is typically used for parameter names. I am quite curious what is the reason behind the parameter name change as well? Sorry if I am bothering you. I am just quite confused, haha-
Hello! I originally changed it for the aesthetic but now I'm doing it to erase incessant information, most of the songs have as trivia the same information that the infobox has and in the videos are unofficial videos that do not help much, it's more than anything to have to review the pages one by one and correct them hahaha
I'm sorry if I could not explain myself well, my mother tongue is not English and I'm still learning
Ah, I see. I personally think there could have been a better way to do the reviewing, but that is just my opinion. :) I would be having plenty free time today and tomorrow, so I guess I could help out with reviewing.
Edit: I think I misunderstood what you said, oops- You made the change to infobox for a better design, and added Song category for easier reviewing, right? Correct me if I am wrong. If that is indeed the case: There are like 147 song pages. Changing the parameter names on about hundred pages would take a while, and the infobox would remain messed up on many pages and hence not be able to provide sufficient information in that while - which would probably be rather inefficient. You could have similar infobox design without having to change parameter names and hence not breaking the infobox. I could help with that if you like? ^^ As for category, plural name for categories is typically considered preferable - hence I think "Songs" would be better than "Song" for category name. Perhaps just going through pages one by one through Songs category and reviewing them would be a better choice?
